You will need to read chapter II Enlaces: contexto, historia y memoria, from the book called “El Libro Abierto de la Informática Educativa” (find it on your intranet). With this information, answer the following questions:
- What was going on in the world, in terms of technology and education, when in Chile people were just thinking about implementing a program like Enlaces?
- Which were the economic and social needs to start a program of this kind?
- What was the proposal chosen by Mr. Lagos?
- What was ´La Plaza´ about? (The software)
- Which elements promoted the expansion of the program?
- How does Enlaces cooperate in education and/or the Chilean teaching and learning processes?
- Which is the social impact of the program?
Format
- Teamwork: Four students.
- Include cover page with information such as the UST logo, names, date, name of the assignment, name of the subject, professor’s name, and any other relevant information.
- The extent of the assignment is between two and three pages.
- Use APA style in both, citations (if needed) and reference (mandatory).
- Attach a copy if the evaluation criteria at the end of your assignment for your grading.
